Last Thursday, the 14th of March, the vision for the future of Via Cassanese in the city of Segrate, Milan, was presented in front of an audience of 300 people by the West 8 team. Held at the Centro Verdi in Segrate, the event was attended by the local community, journalists, Segrate Mayor, Paolo Micheli, and Deputy Mayor and Alderman, Francesco Di Chio.

The City of Segrate entrusted West 8 with their vision to transform the 3 km long Via Cassanese from heavy road infrastructure into a ‘Spina Verde’ (Green Spine) for the city. The team’s design revitalizes the character of the street with a system of greenery and public spaces that reconnect the urban fabric, reduce emissions, and promote safe and green mobility. The vision was presented by West 8 Creative Director, Daniel Vasini, as well as Elena Stevanato and Federico Parolotto of MIC HUB.
