Course Description and Credit Information

This course focuses on the Net Zero Project, the processes involved, and its significance in creating a school environment designed and constructed to produce as much energy on site as it consumed from the electric grid, electricity and gas bills at 10% or less of a typical school, and no water bills for site and landscaping irrigation. What was impossible 10 years ago, is a reality today due to advanced technologies associated with the production of renewable energy sources.

The course presents information that proved helpful in analyzing the school/area’s capability to accommodate renewable energy technologies, the equipment, applications, and systems used to turn the once vision into a reality.

2. Learn about the effective methods that ensure efficient processes and positive results.
